Doha, 3 December 2017 - QNB, the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa, has sponsored the special National Day celebration organized recently by Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development at QF’s Ceremonial Court under the slogan "United Education City" to mark Qatar National Day annually celebrated on December 18.
QNB's sponsorship of this event comes as part of its keenness to participate in the National Day celebrations marking Qatar’s success in achieving national unity and independence; and it reflects the bank’s firm commitment to support the mission of educational institutions in the State of Qatar to consolidate our culture and social values.
The celebration, organized by the Qatari Students Association (QSU), aims to demonstrate the bonds of unity and belonging among Qatari citizens and residents on this occasion. The event also provided an opportunity to unveil the heritage of Qatar, introduce traditional handicrafts, and liaise between young entrepreneurs and stakeholders to build a more cohesive society.
The event included an exhibition to display falcons, local and foreign food outlets, musical performances, and handicraft.
QNB's sponsorship of this event comes in line with its mission and vision aligned with the event’s objectives aimed at expressing pride, unity and loyalty of the people of Qatar to the wise leadership.
It also reflects the bank’s keenness to sponsor and support national events that consolidate values of good citizenship among youth in particular in order to consolidate the development renaissance in Qatar in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
