Doha, 13 October, 2015- QNB, “ The leading financial institution in the Middle East and North Africa”, has organized two blood donation drives with employees based in Doha in conjunction with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).
This important Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative was held at QNB’s Head Office and Al Mathaf buildings over a two-day period and involved employees from different departments.
This year’s campaign followed on from a similar successful exercise in 2013 and had a dual purpose of enhancing blood bank stocks at HMC and raising awareness of the importance of donating blood and the resulting health benefits to society.
QNB was very pleased to partner with Hamad Medical Corporation in this important health and wellbeing initiative.
The health sector is one of six key areas that QNB Group focuses on to reflect its values and goals, and to emphasize its keenness to support such events that benefit society.
The employees blood donation is one of the initiatives QNB holds jointly with HMC, in addition to several local and international events in the health sector sponsored by the Bank.
