In case the bank was not notified with traveling abroad, will apply the credit cards international limits as shown in the above table Credit Cards International Limits (Inside Egypt)
We would like to inform you that in case of requesting to use the credit card in foreign currency while traveling, you should inform the bank before traveling through the nearest branch or call the Customer Service Center (19700) in order to allow international usage limits during the travel period only.
- The Bank reserves the right to request any document proving travel abroad at the time of using the card
- Proof of residence abroad for more than 90 days must be submitted through the nearest branch or send an email to ([email protected]) including the national ID number (for Egyptians) or passport number (for foreigners) and the last 4 digits of your credit card
- A travel notification may be added through our Mobile Application or the internet banking but in order to activate your international limits you should inform bank through the nearest branch or call the Customer Service Center (19700)
In case of violation of the above-mentioned instructions:
- Your credit card will be stopped.
- You will be reported to The Egyptian Credit Bureau (I-score) to be included in the negative list
- You will be prohibited from issuing any banking credit card.
- Reporting to any other concerned party to take the needed action.
Please note:
- If you have more than one QNB credit card, the international limit will be available only on the highest credit card type.
- Starting from 14 March 2024, any newly issued credit cards will not be eligible for international limits until 2 months after the issuance date.
- Usage of foreign currencies will be available according to each card type limit.
- International spending at some merchants categories is stopped or limited on QNB Cards
International Limits for Debit and Prepaid Cards
Kindly note that the international spending has been stopped for the EGP Debit cards and Prepaid cards
Please abide by the proper usage of the Bank cards according to the terms and conditions of the cards. In addition, it is prohibited for the cards to be used or misused inside or outside Egypt by others to avoid card stoppage. For inquiries, please call 19700
