QNB signs cooperation protocol with "Al Nas Hospital" to support the health sector

Based on its pioneer role in corporate social responsibility, specifically in the health sector and its sustainable development goals, QNB , a subsidiary of QNB Group, signed a cooperation protocol with Al-Joud Charitable Foundation "El Nas Hospital".  The protocol aims to ensure the continuity of basic health services, especially less privileged segments.
Mohamed Bedeir, Chief Executive Officer of QNB -Egypt , and Mr. Ayman Mamdouh Mohamed Abbas, Treasurer and Member of the Board of Trustees of Al-Joud Foundation, signed the cooperation protocol in the presence of the bank and foundation leaders.
In this context, Mohamed Bedeir stated, "Supporting the health sector in Egypt is one of the bank's top priorities through the social responsibility sector. We believe in the importance of the role played by the institutions in supporting the health system in Egypt, and from this point of view, we took the initiative to sign a cooperation protocol with Al-Nas Charity Hospital, one of the leading institutions in charitable contribution. We consider this a starting point to improve the level of services provided to patients by equipping patient rooms and providing all their needs."
The bank stresses the importance of supporting the health sector in line with the directives of the Central Bank of Egypt and Egypt Vision 2030 to achieve the sustainable development goals, so QNB is keen to establish fruitful partnerships with all leading and development institutions in charity and civil work to provide the best health care, in addition to the bank's participation in all initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of services provided to citizens at all levels.
Mr. Ayman Mamdouh Mohammed Abbas, Treasurer and Member of the Board of Trustees of Al-Joud Foundation, said: "The agreement between QNB and Al-Nas Hospital is a constructive step in the path of charitable work due to its vital role in developing patient accommodation rooms and for the medical service it provides, whether for patients who are being prepared for surgeries or those who spend their recovery period after performing various medical operations or procedures. Al Nas Hospital is keen to provide accommodation rooms equipped with the highest quality standards commensurate with the needs of patients and their companions and works to comfort each patient in a thoughtful manner and provides a high level of protection against risks and infections."
It is worth mentioning that Al Nas Hospital is a non-profit organization that has provided 303,322 medical services to 9,860 patients since its opening in 2019, and the hospital opens its doors to patients with chronic heart diseases and treats them with the latest medical methods and according to the latest international standards and controls.
